The Fleet
Island Air Flight School operates a diverse fleet tailored to support student pilots through every stage of their training. The fleet includes a combination of Cessna 150/152s and Cessna 172s aircraft, both are trusted, proven platforms used throughout the entire flight training process—from initial lessons to solo and cross-country flights. For advanced experience, students have access to a Cessna 182 equipped with a Garmin G1000 glass cockpit, offering valuable exposure to modern avionics. The school also operates a Piper Aztec (PA-23) twin-engine aircraft for multi-engine and IFR training. Every aircraft is maintained to Transport Canada standards by our own team of aircraft maintenance engineers and mechanics.
